Learning Studio Grades 3-5

Learning Studios provide a workshop based learning experience that focuses on a specific topic. The intended goal of the workshop is to help students embrace active learning strategies to increase retention and learning connections.

Fractions: Students will explore and understand how fractions apply to real world situations. In the Fractions Learning Studio students will focus on the following skills: Understanding fractions as part of a whole; Identifying and generating equivalent fractions; Renaming improper fractions as mixed numbers.
